How could i forget Reynolds! Yes a nice medical group would be good and the Commissary chaps too. Im considering taking the helmet off one of the NMP figures and adding a wooly hat to make a Trooper Lugg.

Although I dont like doing conversions I have realised to do a 1:1 ratio for the defenders I will have to do a few, at the moment just concentrating on redcoats....its a long term project.  :D

Dont suppose you got the numbers to hand for the redcoat defenders? I have about 70 all finished so far and finishing another ten or so at the moment?

I will let you know exact numbers tonight, its about 140 all in iirc. I think there a few different opinions but Im basing my force on the named list in Mike Snooks 'Like Wolves on the Fold' book.

I have about 70 privates base coated.

This is from a post from the ladies themselves made last spring:

Quote
Moving forward the next cavalry will be the Native Horse, Imperial Mounted Infantry and Boers. Then we will cover the other Auxilliary cavalry units and the Regular cavalry the Dragoons and Lancers.

In the meantime we will have some more releases being announced during the coming days and weeks, much of which will be on our stand at Salute TA26.

Looks like so far, for AZW, only the Boers have been released since them.  I asked at the time for them to model 30 Field Company RE and Blood's Pontoons. Not sure the idea ever got any traction.  ;)

I'm waiting for the British lancers and dragoons.

I'm sure they will be awesome.

Empress have been reading this thread but we are going to be a tease and not actually tell you what we are working on at the moment. Industrial espionage and all that.  However it is a lot of stuff, which will largely be released March, April. Some earlier.

There will be a large number of packs for the AZW. If these work out as planned they will probably be the best packs in the range…….so far.

We are also working on a large number of releases in the other ranges as well as two completely new ranges….........….one of which is a new Colonial Period currently being sculpted by Mr Hicks. We are gradually putting the ‘greens’ together at this moment and getting regular photographs of the sculpts as they are made. To say that we are very excited by the range so far is an understatement.

More than that we are not prepared to divulge. ;)

Whatever it is at the very least it will be able to be cherry picked for officers etc I am sure, not to mention the VSF brigade.

I know what I want it to be but I doubt I will be that lucky but as Mother used to say "you will have to wait and see"
