Holidays´ battle at "one and a half man Wargames Club".
We tried a Fubar battle whith lot of troops. It takes two sessions of around 3 hours each. We haved a good time and a lot of fun in this friendly battle ( We put enfasis on fun over competition).
My son takes imperial troops while myself taked ork command.
There was 4 objectives to hold in 6 turns.
Imperial battle plan was to keep advancing at any cost while ork plans was to decimated imperial whith heavy weapons and then launch an assault on the last turns.
Turn 1-2 Both sides taking positions and firsts shots.
Turn 3 Imperial troops advance while ork´s vehicles haved problems on the dense terrain. Heavy loses on orks center while at the left ork infantry regrouped.
Turn 4 Lots of fire and imperials hold objective3.
Turn 5 One objective each side and two contested. Heavy loses on imperial guard, anyway imperial troops keeps the iniciative.
Turn 6 Imperials cleanse objective 3 and advance towards objective 2. Orks unable to advance due to terrain or vehicle damage can´t contest objective 3.
Final result Orks 1 objective / Imperials 2 objectives/ 1 objective contested.
