Lovely work Chris
Your painting of the heli and the IFV remind me of the way one paints WW2 German 'water pattern',nicely done. And I would be interested on your take for the rules in regards to the Hind?
Cheers
Guy
I'm currently working on a Post-WW2 article for Triumph and Tragedy which will probably be released as a PDF in late spring. This will feature helicopter rules plus specific helicopter templates and their respective models.
Generally, there'll be two deployment modes in which a chopper can be on the table, either during an attack run using the aircraft rules from the original books, or as a "flying/hovering transport", in which it works pretty much as "a ground vehicle off the ground" and stays on the table from game turn to game turn.
Both modes will obviously have benefits and drawbacks, and the Hind is a bit of a "tough customer" in that it can operate in both roles - that and the redonkulous amount of weapons it carries. Points costs will probably be through the roof; on the other hand, given the known problems it had manoeuvering at low speeds and altitudes, this might balance things out a bit.
