Awesome stuff, I've always been fascinated by the 'minor' European nations' involvement in India. Did Danish forces see much action on the subcontinent?

The Danes didn't see a lot of action. There were a number of skirmishes between 1655 and 1667. You get the feeling that the Danes had it worked out that you made an annual payment to the local ruler and everything would be fine. One modern author has written;

The Danish administration interfered little with native matters and saw its main job in maintaining law
and order and public security for undisturbed commerce...In warlike times, the colony was popular as a haven of peace and safety..

The next action was in 1756 when an expedition was sent to assume control of the Nicobar Islands.

After that was the British occupation in 1801 when the Danes sided with Napoleon, but I assume that was a bloodless matter.
