Binman,
I have spoken to a guy at Old Glory UK (who's name I cannot unfortunately remember) and at the time he was happy to add some of these to his order from the states. Cannot remember P&P charges etc but I do remember it seemed pretty fair. All old stockists I've found are down to a few random packs so for full choice contact OGUK and they should be able to help.

(let us know what the results are as there are still a couple of packs I'm after)

Cholly, what would you consider to be 'must have' packs from that range?

Now thats a tricky one, and will depend on what you're trying to acheive. For me, I'm a bit of a stickler for WYSIWYG so some packs are out of the running due to weapons mismatch between the mounted and on-foot versions but the one's I'm after include Ranchers Posse 2, the cattle baron & boys 2, both packs of Mexican Rancheria & Vacqueros, Pinkertons 1 and Long Riders 1. A nice mix of weapons and outfits plus matching arms for infantry and cavalry. Still, gonna have to wait for those as my wild west lead pile has grown (again) and I need to at least try to lessen my backlog. Fat chance!!

I have the Long Riders, vaqueros and rancheria packs too and I love them. My all-time favorite is the sherrif and deputies pack #1 with the "not John Wayne" from Rio Bravo.

Thanks for the replies.

I have all the European Hunters, the Buffalo Hunter #2, and both Train Robber sets.  The train robbers are so-so, not my favorite.  I agree about the European hunters; they are great.  IIRC, there are the Prussian and the French guy in one set, 2 Russian sets, one of which has a woman and a hound of some sort (Afghan or deer hound possibly), and a set with a dutchman and a Brit I think.

I will have to add the ranchers, cattle baron, sheriff and long riders to my list as well.

I'm sure I purchased a hefty box of the Cowboy Wars range from Westwind direct a few years ago. They were selling them off when they decided to stop stocking them. I'm sure I've still got them buried in one of my numerous lead piles somewhere. I'll have a rummage around & see if I've got any of the ones you chaps are looking for.

Might take me a couple of days to track them down so hope you're not in any hurry.
...and what fresh new hell is this?

Ok chaps, after much rummaging & shouts of "I don't remember buying those either..." I finally found my box of Cowboy Wars figures. Didn't have as many as I thought so can only assume I traded some away already. Sorry, I'm getting old & my memory's not what it once was  ;)

Anyhow, here's what I've got left. Codes are those shown on the Old Glory website:

ZCW-16 Mexican Rancheria #2 - Jarrissse and Yonan the Kid
ZCW-29 Long Riders #1 - Stachow & Terzinski
ZCW-23 Women of the West #1 - Mystery & Hykeley
ZCW-10 Marshalls & Deputies #2 - Vandergundt & Marion
ZCW-11 Cattle Baron & Boys #1 - Fisher & Brewsters
XCW-02 Snake Oil Salesman & Medicine Wagon (5 figures, a resin cast wagon & 2 horses)

Also turned up an unopened pack of The Earp Sisters & Doctor Holly Daye - 4 figs from Shadowforge. A tiny bit smaller than the Cowboys Wars stuff but they are girlies so would fit in.

A further rummage also unearthed 2 packs of Black Scorpion figures - Outlaws & Tombstone3. They are 32mm but great looking figs.

Oooh & finally a bag of 6 loose guys that are either Foundry or Artizan or a mix of both.

I know it was only the Cowboy Wars stuff you were looking for but thought I'd mention my other discoveries, just in case  :D

What would you accept in trade?

Love to fill those gaps :)
