Finally! A rear shot!
http://www.bf-games.net/readnews/9248/battlefield_1918_schweres_geraet_fuer_die_k_u_k_truppen.html

But I still don't see a door -- or door handle -- anywhere!

Maybe Andy knows!?! He built one already:

More shots at different angles of Andy's model:

Maybe the door only opens from the inside, so no handle. In the first link above (bf-games.net), there appears to be a smaller door-like panel on the vehicle's left side (from inside the vehicle).

Schogun,

thanks for the pictures, I know all of them ;) You are right about the door on the left, but the handle seems to be hidden...

But every Junovicz is unique (they even build the car on different chassis) so I will just place a hatch on the side ;)

missed this one thanks to Aircav for pointing it out to me.  Looking good, and looking forward to seeing some more photos.  :)  I have a nice scale drawing of the Junowicz in the work I could email to you tomorrow if you havent seen it already.  It shows the door on the panel pretty much above the figure in your original photo thats where I put it.

cheers

Andy

my second effort had a bit more detail than the first that has already been linked to

Hi Andy,

I decided to make a mixture of the different built models of the Junowicz, so I left the door hidden on the left side. I didn't realise the assimetric build of the front though, but that doesn't bother me now that I know ;) I'd be happy to have that scale drawing.

Thanks,
Tobi

Always preferred the Junovicz to that horrid Romfell Batmobile-looking thing that everyone else went all weak at the knees over. Good to see one being made.

I received word from Tobi that the Junovicz is cast and waiting for the painter to finish it so he can take some photos for the shop. Should only take some more days, he said.
