6mm cavalry and/or speederbikes.

I am slowly rolling along on my 6mm project (pics tomorrow I hope) I am finishing up all the infantry I will need for my current force (not that much, mind) and got a sudden urge to include a cavalry asset, and for some reason at the same time the image of star wars speeder bikes got stuck in my head. Does anybody know good cavalry to go with the dark realm light shock troopers? I am looking for something in relativity simple uniform, not the whole frock historical cavalry tends to have, tough historical models armed with carbines could work if painted in the same colours I think. On a related note, does anybody make 6mm speederbikes in the likes of starwars? (not even sure how I would use those in dirtside, but I rather like the idea)

Old GW Epic Imperial Guard Rough Riders, maybe? I think they were roughly 6mm, although I could be wrong. And had hunting lances, if memory serves, not with carbines etc. You can just about make them out on the second sprue here:

Rough riders, at that scale, could pas for some medieval riders, which is ok at 28mm as they have the badges of the imperial guard, but at 6mm they simply look out of place to me.

I know the GZG scout cycles, but I cant see them being very useful on any non urban battlefield as they don't look all that off-road capable. To be more specific, I am looking for something which has that starwars feel of floating engines as rides, so to speak, really anything that would look good with those starwars swooping noises playing would do I guess. (thats a trange way to describe what I'm looking for, but I guess it works)
