I'd just really like a team builder points cost/formula similar to something like Song of Blades system, so I can build my own.

I haven't bought the rules yet, but a team builder formula would really get me interested.  My favorite part of this hobby, other than buying piles of metal figures I will never get around to painting, is making tons of characters I will never get around to playing :)

Another idea for a gang I don't think I've seen, how about some Scots.  Think the Socs from The Outsiders.  Also, Beatniks.

How about bring the Rat Pack into it there's only 4 of them but it could be a gang.

I really hate to say it, but the lack of this is what's held me off on getting into this one as well. Everything else has looked nothing but absolutely stellar.

The post 1957 apocalyptic world needs:
Illinois Nazis (God I hate Illinois Nazis)

Yes.  There's also a need for the sweater-girl gangs of those late 50's proto-exploitation movies e.g. "The Violent Years" 1956.
This is my boomstick!

Beatniks! We need more beatniks! Any kind of intellecutals with beret and small glasses. Also, dudes with straight pipes and housewifes.

So you are saying 50's figs of Ward, June, Wally and the Beave swinging meat cleavers or something else? :-) Dont forget about Eddie and Lumpy while you are at it.

I think this would work. Though I'm not sure if these would match the style exactly.

Thoughts?

The Blood & Thunder Biker Priests (Rock & Rolls eternal foil!) seemed inevitable.
