Some bold colors as always, Frau Blucher made the most suitable comment for your unique painting style!
Waiting for the cavern pics!
(be warned you posted some duplicates here  :) )
Anyway, the Troll base has to  looked many times to admire all this detail you put there! For Troll and Gang!

Thanks, Dinos...you won't have to wait; i.e., the Cavern pics will appear right after these comments.
The two duplicates after the back shot are actually slightly different pics; I just couldn't make up my mind which one to skip.

NOW Spotty Herbert & his Gang of Miscreants are seen here in the Dread Greyscale Cavern, unknown & unheard of by the masses:

There you have them in all their retina wrecking glory!

Described with three words:
Evocative! Evocative! Evocative!
Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates. – Mark Twain, Life on the Mississippi

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Superb!
 :-* :-*

I should have guessed that you would be the one to cram them all on one base.
They look great!
 :D

I have this set and the little critturs are all due to go on the Menu for Palaeo Diet at some point, the big fella joins my OGAM Norse Trolls (without the 'shrooms!).
Great piccies for inspiration.

Holy cow, Al. Simply stunning. I'm going to have to buy a dictionary to get more words to describe your work!

I feel bad for the little blue dude in Mollog's sinister clutch...

LoL Greyscale Cavern indeed, but it is watching intently. Is it murder I see in the cavern's beady eyes?

Thanks for the kind reply, Paul. I am happy you like the Gang...I do tend to complicate matters.
Be sure to save the mushrooms you clip off the Troll,; re, they will make excellent scenic touches.

Thanks, Tobias. I am happy you like the piece...it is a relief having it done & nicely accepted.
The Frog does not appear too thrilled with his situation...as Kermit said: "it isn't easy being green or blue, in this case.

LoL Greyscale Cavern indeed, but it is watching intently. Is it murder I see in the cavern's beady eyes?

...the idea was for a monotone setting with a couple of color splashes; i.e., the mold, stalagmites, &, of course the Eyes.
The Eyes may or may not be homicidal, but they sure do add an eerie feel to the place. Thanks for the reply, scatterbrains.

Tom List's Dancing Orcs came to mind when I took these photos. SO...thanks, Tom.
If you can play Ease on Down the Road from the Wiz through your head while looking at the Mushrooms, it sets the scene nicely.

There you have them...so to speak.

I imagine purple mushrooms dancing and the yellow ones radiating flares of light from their one eye like photorythmic! Cheers!
