Yes. Thanks! It gives a very interesting texture. Stiff as you said, yet looking fresh. Could even remain unpainted, me thinks.

It probably could go unpainted. Since both the Super Leaf & the Woodland Scenics come in a variety of shades, a mixture of the different shades would give a pleasant contrast of colors.

The Swamp Thing & Troll got some paint on the groundwork:

I based up the Big Rat Guy for the Sewer Rat Gang:

AND I finished the already painted Troll with the addition of a proper base:

Things are coming along...kind of.
PLUS, after years of admiring their stuff, I got off my first Northumbria Tin Soldier order...OH BABY!

Who said that hiatus influenced your job!
This is an outstanding show of your talent!
The scales, the face, the base, the water! Wonderful!

Thanks, Dinos. The photos are bit off today, but I am happy you enjoyed the minis anyway.

not sure about the photos being off, seems to effectively show that that's not something you want to see creeping through tall grass anywhere, especially near to you.

top class colorful work, nice piccies as always!

Yes, the lurking through the reeds is really very effective!

Thanks, Tactalvanic. I am happy you like the stuff.
The lighting was a bit off, but now that I have my beat up fluorescent lamp back in the mix the colors are more spot on.

The Big Slimey Guy does look like he is lurking in the reeds. I wish I could say I planned it that way, but it is just one of those serendipitous happenings.

I finally sorted out all the packed up painted things from the move North. I know pretty much where everything is now AND I finished touching up & repairing those few things that were damaged in the move. Snow White's Recreational Potions (drug consortium) got the tall chimney repaired:

A few more photos of the place:

The Grim Reaper Mushroom got a right arm replacement & Leo Sizechekz, my size comparison mini, got a new coat & pants stripes:

Now on to new thing...eventually.

Yup, I was about to say the same. It's a very sinister look you achieved there. :)

Good repairing job on those! Which means that you are getting full control again, great!
Thank you so much for showing the Drug Consortium, I love so much your buildings!
And what is more fascinating, more little details were revealed, as the octopus-like and through-the-pipe looking eyes!  :-*

I really did get a feeling of accomplishment from doing the repair work. This is not normally the case.
I am delighted you like the detail work on the Consortium. I feel it is the little touches that give the buildings character. The same is true for the bases & the miniatures.

In the sorting I found some Mushrooms that had been painted but never based. SO I based up two that reminded me of American Gothic:

The Swamp Thing is done now. He seems a little camera shy:

The largest of the mushrooms also got some attention:

There you go.

These American Gothic fellows with their cute faces, nimble hands and so beautifully made flesh tones, drive me craaazy!  :-*
And the Swamp Thing! Coming out nicely and one mushroom on its base is highly commented! Cheers!

Thanks for the reply, Dinos. I am glad you like the stuff...craaazy can be fun.
The big mushroom took forever to get the transition from purple to crimson right.
