Goblin Town looks amazing!
 8) 8) 8)

And that observatory is perfect and should blend into your world perfectly.
What a gorgeous acquisition.

I love the shape and greebles on the observatory. I'm sure that goblins are very familiar with the celestial objects and their paths, especially since their images decorate their flags and tunics. ;)

Now we know where their knowledge comes from. :D

Cheers
Matt

Thanks, Matt. ArmorCast makes some really nice pieces. Once the Observatory is painted, I may reward myself with their Steam Powered Snail...or not.
I was originally going to have the telescope trained on The Tower observing a different type of celestial body.

Thanks, Paul...glad you like it! The Village all started with one little Goblin Hut/Hovel. It was a matter of one idea spawning another. AND all the ideas seem to be getting along nicely.

Oooooo, all those faces look creepy together. Nicely done!

I can't quite tell through the primer, are those curtains or bars in the windows of the new hovel?

Can't wait to see it in color either!

Thanks for the reply, Jevenkah! Creepy is my thing...or one of them.
Those are, indeed, curtains. Since the Hovels are solid, the curtains give the impression of an interior without providing a view...at least that's the idea behind them.

Yow! just stumbled across this 198-page thread and all I can say is it's amazing!!! I love the mushrooms. Been meaning to make my own mushroom forest for cavern explorations, this may tip me over the edge into doing it.

I'm in the midst of a relatively productive spell...painting-wise that is; SO the Blessed Knights of the Gooey Death & their Mercenary Minions have received some long overdue attention. Here are some TRULY mediocre photos of the Lads & Lady thus far:

The Lead Adventure Mercenaries, as a group:

W. Von Shakespeare & Herald:

W. Von Tell:

The Finders of Lost Objects aka the Thieving Looters:

The Morale Officer with Marching Band AND yhe first of the Pistoleers:

The Pistoleer Group:

..The Finished One:

PLUS The Witch I didn't include (lack of time is the excuse) with floedebolle's Summer Package:

...there you have it!

Brilliantly inspired and always something amazing

Long may this productive spell last!

Thanks for your kind reply on two counts: it's always nice to get a positive reaction, AND I left out that the "TRULY mediocre" referred to the photos, which only give a vague idea what the minis look like. All that aside, I'm glad you like the crew. Once I got started on the Professor's & White Knight's mini, I found them to be a delight to paint...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Thanks, Paul. The goggles are a Camera illusion I'm afraid, but all compliments are gratefully received. The wild colors & flashy costumery are what I find alluring about Renaissance.

Beautiful  :o
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.
