...well actually, he didn't go anywhere; i.e., the model was finished several years ago. He had his base remove for inclusion on the Spooky Woods Board. That didn't happen. SO he sat, looking forlorn for years awaiting a new base...it was noticed that pieces stored in proximity to him seemed to disappear. Be that as it may, I finally gave him a new base, did some touch ups, & took some less than wonderful photos of him:

...now isn't that a sad expression?

Thanks, Fram. This is one of those things that I don't mind being proven wrong about at all. I'm delighted you like the photos; the area around the eyes has more of a glow to it than the photos would suggest, but that's about it as far as colors go.

I'm with Fram on this - lovely photos.

And not so much looking sad as just looking really hungry. You need a goblin chef that does home deliveries. Not everyone can afford to eat out every day of the week.

Thanks, von Lucky. That does sound like a possible explanation...Domino's is stuck in traffic with the pizza OR way laid by a rival Stump:

...was that the clip clop of tiny hoofs?

...the pizza or your life!

...NEVER!...he looks too Don Quixotesque to hand over the delivery.

...please feel free to write your own exciting conclusion.

Thanks, Paul...glad you like them.
The flesh tone were done with Americana: Heritage Brick base coat highlighted with Georgia Clay then Pumpkin & finally a Sand & Pumpkin mix. The lips are Pumpkin with a Calico Red wash & a Pumpkin highlight while the wash was still wet.

Your welcome...after I posted it, I hoped you meant the colors for the second Stump Man.
I was a bit down for awhile, but hope & enthusiasm spring eternal with moi...it's part of that senility thing  or maybe the idiocy one.

Thanks, randy...I like the conclusion you came to. With the approach of Halloween, I thought I might do up something CREEPY; then it occurred to moi that most everything I do is CREEPY.
