Less the imminent detailing, Scary Mary's Place is done:

AND how it looks on The Board:

...now I'll pick out another hovel to putter around with as I plod my way through The Flowers.

Interesting mix of stone colours. Did you think of picking out an individual brick here or there to give it more of a mixed feel, or is there a specific reason the stone work is in starkly distinct patches?

It matches the paving/cobblestone mix, which gives you, the viewer, some idea where the building material came from. AND the bricks/cobbles represent areas of the building that have been patched...shoddy construction.

Ah, my first suspicion was that it was to deliberately show a patch job. Well there ya go!

The weekend was rather unproductive craft-wise. I did start on the Seeress' Hovel, The All Seeing Ivy's Place:

...AND a little work on Flowers #2-4:

...I have the stonework & pavers done with the Mushrooms awaiting highlights; SO there may be more photos tonight or early tomorrow...or not.

Later the same day: I just keep doing just "one more thing" to Hovel #2; AND now The All Seeing Ivy's Place is done:

...how it fits on the board:

...I'm starting to believe that I'll finish the board...of course, I believe in a LOT of silly things.

Oh my goodness Deafnala, That town is going to be a cacophony of colour!  o_o

I LOVE IT!  lol

The "Seer's" house certainly fits the bill. Why be a creepy old lady peering through the blinds when you can add a large eye to your house and let it do all the spying on the neighbours.  ;D

"Ivy!"
"Yes malcifur?"
"Dirty Daniel is putting things in your rubbish bin again."
" >:("

Cheers

The flowers are going to be amazing when they are done.

I like the name "All Seeing Ivy".

Thanks, Matt...glad you like it. Color-wise there are only two choices for moi; i.e., black & white or the usual explosion-in-a-paint-factory look.

The flowers are going to be amazing when they are done.

I like the name "All Seeing Ivy".

Thanks, weismonsters. I have great hopes for the Flowers. I'm glad you like them.
While it's just a take off on the All Seeing Eye, I also like the sound of The All Seeing Ivy...finding or converting the right miniature should be fun also.

Blimey!
Seems that I have missed a few updates.... ::)
(Sorry, sir....)

The upside to missing things is that I get to catch up on the riot of progress that you have made all in one go.
 :D

All the new stuff is excellent, a real treat, with the eye and flowers being my almost-favourite parts.
That honour goes to those leaves: They look amazing!
 :-* :-*

Great work, yet again, Amigo.

Thanks for the kind reply, Paul. All the positive reactions are most appreciated.
I've been enjoying the process. I have a road trip coming up, & it seems like I'm trying to cram in as much painting & modeling as possible before I go. I don't enjoy travelling; but going from point A to point B without going through the intervening distance still isn't an option.
