Today's somewhat less than Earth Shattering development: I pretty much finished the Flower Faces...avoiding the leaves once more:

...one of the advantages of taking W.I.P. photos is I can spot mistake before applying the finishing spray. The only draw back is the amount of profanity entailed.

That's only a drawback if there's an old ladies tea society nearby. Or, maybe it's an advantage in that case...

That could be a major faux pas; like farting in a lift full of nuns (source: The Runes of Loki).

The paint on the leaves really transforms them. Much more than the usual flat painting or simple wash I've sometimes seen on artificial plants used for miniatures scenes.

Looking forward to seeing the village grow!

That sums up the total 'fantasy' feeling that your work evokes really well.

Loving those green tones.

Thanks, von Lucky. I'm rather pleasntly surprised how many folks like the green. I figured with the subdued color chic, there would be less support for my bright colors. I'm  glad you are one who likes flashy leaves & flowers.

The paint on the leaves really transforms them. Much more than the usual flat painting or simple wash I've sometimes seen on artificial plants used for miniatures scenes.

Looking forward to seeing the village grow!

Thanks, ZeroTwentythree! I'm delighted you enjoy the green, The flowers will be backed up by The Tower; SO the bright shades should add some flash.
I'm looking forward to the Village expansion. The detailing could be a blast.

@DeafNala You are so great at sculpting and painting characterful faces.  Always a treat to see them.

Thanks, Galahad. The kind response to my Faces is appreciated. I'm delighted you enjoy them.

I'm happy you've joined the Green Leaf Group...thanks for saying so, Paul!

Nala, Nala, twisted schola', how do yer garden grow?

...with screaming shells & Hell's bells, I suppose. I have a feeling there will be more Flower types before I'm through.

What a cheerful bunch, they aren't shrinking violets are they ;)

I like their yellow faces. They boarder between cheerful and openly hostile. I like that  8)

Cheers
