It's Cookie Monster's mutant brother!
COOKIEEEE!
 :-*

Now that is funny! I'd love to see him on Sesame Street.

That is a seriously disturbing thing. It is more disturing than a really really disturbing thing.

Thanks, Doc. I agree. It is truly grotesque...nice smile(s) though.

AND there's a new Mushroom in The 'Hood:

...doesn't he have a winsome smile though?

He does indeed. I like that fellow.

You didn't sculpt the cookie monster did you?  :-* Even so the paint job is great. Gives a whole new meaning to night soil...  ;D

Faceless Horror? I think the horror is that it seems to have too many faces.  ;)

Looks great!

Thanks, Fram. The Horror is from Reaper: 77114 Faceless Horror. It isn't the most enjoyable of miniatures to paint, but the results are more or less worth the effort. I'm glad you like it...no him or her on this one.
Good observation on the "night soil"...proves you are what you eat.

Thanks ZeroTwentythree...glad you like it! AND it has many too many faces. I'm not sure what if anything the Reaper Folks were thinking of with this name...I'm not a fan of their names anyway.

The "IT" that came from darkest Ohio in this instance is one of several cool thingies I received in a surprise package from our own ZeroTwentythree. IT was in retaliation for a package of Mushrooms I sent off awhile ago. This Floating Tentacled Whatever was made & cast by ZeroTwentthree & seen here with an old Citadel Leprechaun:

...the ruff below the orb reminded me of a clown's neck ruff...Circus Music started playing through my mind. AND two eyes appeared almost of their own volition:

...followed by a face:

...now IT's ready for some paint; & the Leprechaun has distanced himself from the whole affair.

I could used this as another example of how easy it is to get carried away with just the hint of an idea, but I'd prefer to just say the Devil made me do it...sounds plausible.

Nice try. We know the devil dances to your tune.

Looking good, the Floating Tentacled Whatever on second glace reminds me of Baba Yaga for some reason.

Heaven doesn't want me & Hell is afraid I'll take over...or so I'm told.

Now that you mention it. I think the side view gives the impression that the Beasty is wearing a babushka...could be a wizened Old Witch at that.
Be that as it may, thanks for the reply, von Lucky!

Eventually I hope to do the West Wind Circus of Unpleasantness I picked up awhile ago. I think this Beasty might go well with them...a new take on the Mordheim Carnival.

Looking good! Perhaps a Pagliacci colour scheme for the IT? Punch (as in Punch & Judy) is also an option to consider...

It can't be legal to ship those over state lines.  ;D

Actually I haven't come up with any photos of clown makeup. It must have something to do with the childhood traumas they are said to have induced.

You would think the Postal Services would be more thorough, but The Mushrooms have been seen on several continents already. They are taking over...they have to be better than Trump.

If my own work starts to take a more creative & unusual (mischievous?) turn, you'll know why.  :D
