Your custom creations are a total delight. I hope this beautiful madness keeps going for many years long.

Thanks for the kind reply, Reed. I'll keep adding to the Beasty until they pry the brush/scalpel from my cold, dead hands...I intend to come back long enough to bite them when they do.

Love the paintjob on the troll and that leafwork on the tree is the best I've seen.

I NEEDED to make some more Mushrooms. I do have a bunch that are all painted up & ready for mounting:

...AND some that are ready to paint:

...but making Mushrooms is my thing & addictive, SO I started a few new ones Wednesday:

...AND some more today:

...more tomorrow...or not.

It's like those scenes in anime when a huge rocket pod opens up and a hundred little missiles all go flying off wildly in different directions, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh... only instead of a rocket pod, it's a mound of damp earth, and instead of rockets firing we have myconids sprouting, spop, spop, spop.

And instead of a wild-eyed pilot, we have DeafNala.

...I am a wild eyed Old Man though...you should see the photo on my drivers license.
Thanks for the reply, Fram!

Well, when you drive your car, are you a driver... or a pilot?  ;) :P

Every one's a little gem and has a distinct character. They're truly wonderful.

I now understand why they have beady eyes too.

Long may their tribe flourish!

HOORAY! The Internet is working again...for the moment!

Well, when you drive your car, are you a driver... or a pilot?  ;) :P

Whether pilot or driver, the "Wild Eyed part is always operable.
Actually I don't have a car. I occasionally drive Cap'n John's though.

Thanks for the kind reply, LordB...I'm glad you like them!
The beady eyes are quite literal. The  individuality is mostly due to a total lack of planning. Going with the flow is my method...it works nicely for the Mushrooms & stuff though.

Do you do commission work?  :-*

I do paint/sculpt/whatever for other Folk. I used to do it for the money, but now it's more for the fun of it all. P.M. me is you have something you want done.

If things & the Internet are cooperative, I'll post progress photos later today.

...later. The Gang:

...with some closeups of the smaller ones & the Clarabellas:

...the Mushrooms with the arms (G.W. plastic Ghoul & Zombie arms that is):

AND the first of today's:

Since the photos were taken I did two more of the Faces & seven little, normal(?) mushrooms...more later or not.

AND the last six Mushrooms are sculpted & will be prepped tonight or early tomorrow:

...using up the excess Green Stuff yielded these more normal Mushrooms:

...that will wrap it up for today...probably.

The two on the left in the last two pictures, who are not undercoated yet are:
Fantastic!!
Really your best ones yet!

(I have to sculpt some shroom's myself again when I have time.. Now I only own the lonely Pete Pilz I showed you before..)

Thanks, LordOdo! I'm glad you like them. I just now prepped them; I think they will feature in the Swamp scene.
I'm happy to hear you are still turning out the Mushrooms. I find mine wander off to other places & Folk myself...it's a fine excuse to make more.
