That star dome is such a cool idea. Fantastic!

Thanks, Malebolgia...I'm gld you like it.
The stars were a take off on the Steam Punk Observatory on the Twisted Tower/Goblin Village Board:

...you might say "star studded"...you didn't, but you might.
The star field showed up frequently on my Night Goblin Banners as well.

DeafNala, that star fields motif of yours evokes me of the best of 80s classical fantasy!  ;)

Thanks for the compliment, dinohunterpoa...morale boosts are always welcome.
I know I was into fantasy in the '80s, but I don't remember much of it...the '80s were a rough time for me.

Do the boards allign well to become one big fantastic metropolis?  ;D

Either way it's a spectacular and inspiring feast for the eye!!

I'm making alley ways that will connect The Blight with Rapunzel's Twisted Toweer & Goblin Village & eventually to the Smuggler's Cove. The Witches' Isles (Islets of Langerhans), Shanty Town, & Graveyard fit together. AND Heep's Place & The Spooky Woods are the third area. They all are in the same general area just separated by uncharted lands.

I took this mini out of the display cabinet to make room for Thunder Chicken. I had gotten the miniature from a WAMP Fellow awhile ago. It was an ugly piece; SO I based it & "improved" it by adding eyes to the skull on the staff..."improve" & "silly" being synonymous to my mind, such as it is. Then it sat.
Well...I'm starting to populate The Blight. A Underworld Crime Lord would fit right in. In this case the Underworld was the sewer system...a perfect locale for his Ugliness. AND now I have him underway.
This is what I accomplished yesterday:

...that was rather underwhelming, but I plugged along today:

..if things go to plan, there should be more tomorrow...that wasn't meant as a threat or warning...honest.

AND Thunder Chicken is in the works...I got the name from one our Oh-So-Talented Fellow Forumites. I hope he doesn't mind:

...the Chicken Rider holds the Rod of Directional Influence; re, one up along side the head works far better than mere reins. I got the rider from one of the Guys on L.A.F.; neither he nor I know with any certainty where he comes from or what he actually is supposed to be riding. The Thunder Chicken is Reaper's 03092 Axebeak.

The Pumpkin Heads are also coming along. Photos once they are delivered to their new owner.

Haha! I don't mind at all. It would be an absolute honour my good man!  :) :) :)

Thanks for taking it so well, Thunderchicken. It's a sort of feathery, whimsical tribute...sort of.

Barring the discovery of some Homeric nod, The Slime Lord, Master of the Underworld & Fred The Wonder Skull are done:

...Fred's best side...so he says:

...Loyal Mushroom Minion:

...Fred's second best side...same source:
