You simply must get some rulesets that allow solo play!

Pulp Alley might be the way to go.

I had a set I made up for Mordheim. That was a few years ago though & I haven't a clue what happened to it.
Doing a solo would be a good story telling device for photos.

AND what I did today. I had received in a round about fashion two packs of Hell Hounds. The older & somewhat more cartoony ones I removed the intrical base & base in my usual fashion for Von Kurst's Gang:

...next a couple of mushrooms & a base coating were added:

...THEN I scoured the Vault of Pack Rattiness for a quartet of Dire Rats that I had done some time ago...'08 to be precise...to serve a Hounds for The Witch's Hunters. These got some touch up & some new grass & a new matt finishing spray:

...seen here with one of the Witch's Pumpkin Heads:

...for comparison size & compatibility checks:

...not too bad for an Old Man.

These look great, Alan! Love the bold colours on those rodents of unusual size, and indeed the whole dastardly pumpkin gang.

+1 !!!  ;) (I don't play PA, but recognize the ruleset as top notch! And specifically for   solo play they have the Solo Deck; the Horror Deck is a great idea as well! Worth a serious try IMHO!)

Thanks, Amigo! I'm glad you like the ROUS...I'm reading The Princess Bride now..& Company. Getting a thumbs up on the colors is always a plus.

Thanks MUCHO, Tobias. I'm happy you like them.
Today was a less than a flurry of activity...more like an ooze of productivity. I did manage to paint some bases for the Pumpkin Heads Gangs.
The Witch's Hunters: Witch & Pistol Packing Persons:

...AND Von Kurst's Hounds:

...I have great hopes for tomorrow & the weekend...I have a lot of silly notions.

He does look the part no matter which side he's on he is a grim, implacable foe.
He is a pretty recent Reaper release...I knew I'd find a reason to buy one.

The Witch Hunter is Jakob Knochengard, special edition miniature from last year's ReaperCon - a very bad sculpt anatomically speaking IMHO, but with lots of fine details and just perfect for the context it will be used, a great choice, DeafNala;)

Thanks for the kind reply, dinohunter. Anatomical realism isn't a strong point with me. Jacob is a regular item now...I hadn't realized he was a special.
I think he will fit nicely as an opponent of the Old Lady Burners...or a turncoat for that matter. I'm looking forward to painting him regardless.
