Great painting as allways, Al :)

Looking forward to see my favorite one painted, the one with the 2-handed sword.

Thanks for the kind reply, Tobias. I'm happy you like the progress.
I'll do the two hander next...there is something satisfying about a sword THAT big.

Great eyes on that one! ;)

Thanks, dino. It's the angle of the head that shows off the eyes so nicely. I'd love to say I planned it that way, but some things are just pleasant accidents.

The camera is behaving today. Ask it what it wants.

Normally she works her best after a new battery bribe. She still doesn't take flattering photos of female miniature though.

Thanks for the reply, Ray. I'm happy you enjoy the photos & the Pumpkin Folk.
I started painting miniatures right around this time of the year back in '63. I was coming up on my 16th birthday. SO it's been 54 years & counting.

Great stuff, Al!

Thanks, Paul. I'm glad you like the latest additions AND the Group Portraits.
I'm looking forward to finishing the Witch's Hunters mainly for the photos on tone on the boards...probably the Witch/Goblin Town.

TADA! The last Pumpkin Head in The Witch's Hunters Gang is now done. Only some possible Hench Persons remain. SO...here he & they are:

...AND, surprise, The Group Portrait:

...there you go.
Next I'll take some artsy photos around the Witches,/Goblin Village.

In The Great Swamp of Gwahr, attached to the Witches' Isles of Langerhans, & adjacent to The Haunted Graveyard of St. Lascivious, is the Shanty Town of the Witches Goblin Minions. This is the home base of The Witch's Hunters; the nemesis of the self Righteous Order of Witch Hunters aka The Old Lady Burners. Less some Hench Persons, these are the Gang that I just finished & am about to inflict on you.

For those who have hitherto been spared any knowledge of The Shanty Town, here are a few photos to spoil that state:

...this bridge leads to The Isles of Langerhans:

...The Witch's Hunters, possibly defending the Town from the Forces of Unpleasantness...or not:

They get a mixed reaction from the Storage Tank Guys at Hooligan's Hooch:

,,,there now that wasn't all that bad.

DeafNala, now just take the minis and that gorgeous scenery to ANY Fantasy game convention and get the BEST IN SHOW trophy!  ;)

(and following Adele's example, in your speech you refuse the prize, send you love to the world and break the trophy in half!)  :)

Thanks for the kind reply, Doc! I'm delighted you enjoy the thread.
Across the bridge on one of the Witches' Isles I have three of those Mushroom Houses:

...I think it might be time to take some new photos of the place.
