After putzing around with some new Mushrooms:

I finally started painting the Faerie Folk...well, the Hovering Fellow's Mushroom got some attention:

...& The Group:

...there you go. I have the first of the bases fashioned & sanded. Once the glue dries, it will be painted & possibly photoed.

Thanks, Tobias. One of the wonderful parts of having lived in an area (Greater New York) of wildly diverse ethic groups is getting to pick up some terrific expressions.

I'm glad you are enjoying the latest. I have the first of the bases fashioned & sanded. This gives me a chance to show you what is under the paint & static grass:

...the gray, rock like part is plumber's epoxy putty:

...AND YET ANOTHER Group Portrait:

...more photos after the glue dries & some painting.

...AND the next day: Faerie Goblins Two & Three are ready for some paint. Number Three is waiting for his Mushroom's Green Stuff to dry for the white on black treatment:

...meanwhile Number Four buzzing a freshly made Mushroom:

...The Mushroom:

Periodically I do a G.W. Gnoblar & Night Goblin mix for a particularly weeedy Goblin, one destined for a life of menial labor:

...these unfortunates usually get names like Beastly Burden. This one may get his own base or get stuck with some oppressively large Fellow...time will tell.

He does look like he has an attitude. It's from schlepping all that stuff for the bigger Guys, but he'll get even. THE REVOLUTION IS COMING!
AND that gives me his name: Robespierre. Thanks for the reply, von Lucky!

Even more the reason not to trust the little rat. He should be careful - his comeuppance will be swift ;) Hmm - a crowd of French revolutionary goblins is something I'd like to see in 28mm.

That was a GREAT idea, von Lucky. The Goblins do look the part...a tricolor cockade & we are in business.
I have more photos to post soonish...or tomorrow.

Thanks for the support, dino. As a home made piece, I am delighted you like the Mushroom.

This is where we stood at the end of the day. The Faeries & Robespierre are all base coated; AND the Faeries are based:

...with individual pics:

...more later...I hope.

Today I plodded along with the bases. Robespierre & Faerie Fellow #01 are just about done base-wise with some static grass to be added at the very end of the process:

...the rest of the Fly Boys are closing in fast:

...more tomorrow. Sweet dreams!

The Weedy Revolutionary, Robespierre is done:

...Heep's Place for those who are familiar with it:

...sweet dreams!
