:o :o :o my gahd but you just never quit...well done  :D :D :D

...it gives me a reason to get up in the morning...or at all. Thanks for the reply, Gun bunny...the morale boost is appreciated!
I'm playing around with the new Mushrooms & soon some Trees for a possible Spooky Woods foreshortened backdrop. I got the idea from something Ana Polanscak has done on her Gardens of Hecate site:

...her blog...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED:

...she has a step by step for the Woods there.

Despite all the sighing & staring into space that Spring Fever requires, I did finish a Faerie Fellow & all the Faerie Wings.
The finished Faerie:

...the finished duo:

...AND two to go:

...more later...or not.

DeafNala, they've come up very Blanche-like in the best possible way and yet so original, CONGRATULATIONS!  :-*

And yes, we want MORE, please!  ;)

Thanks again for another kind reply, dino! I do enjoy John Blanche's work; SO the comparison is a very nice compliment.
I just got back from a trip to distant Bee Cave. With nothing much on the tube to distract me, I just might have something new this evening or early tomorrow to post.

Those fairies are awesome. They look very mischeivous.

And thanks for the link to the Gardens of Hecate website. I love that kind of thing.

The faeries look superb!

I think Gardens of Hecate is the best miniatures blog on the web. It's consistently amazing. And it's not just the extraordinary conversions and paintwork that are inspirational (and they are), but also Ana's own inspirations: Croatian folk rituals and medieval allegories and carnival masks and the-Devil-knows-what else.

Ana is a VERY talented Lady. She produces some truly inspiring things in miniature. She also has a spot on Deviant Art:

I agree with everything you have said about Ana. I subscribed to her posts. Now every so often one shows up in my email to amaze & inspire me...it's nice to have something to look forward to these days.

I firguured today would be devoted to sighing & staring into space...two favorite seasonal activities. Then I found I had finished Faerie Fellow #3, Smiling Jack Splat or that's what I call him for now:

AND the entire Flying Circus, finished & in the works:

...there you go.

With the Flying Faerie Horn finished & ready to show off, I may have gotten a little carried away with the photos. SO without delay here he...& they are:

...Smiling Jack Splat's Flying Circus in its entirety:

...seen here with some Local Lasses:

...I did mention I took A LOT OF PHOTOS didn't I?:

AND all the Faeries in house at the moment:

...there you go. Some woodland shots are sure to follow, but not today.
