SWEET INSANITY!  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

DeafNala, that scenery is AWESOME! Hope it will see some Mordheim-like action in a near future in a game convention somewhere!  ;)

And those 3 mushrooms in the base are much more interesting than the figure itself IMHO!  :D

Thanks, dino. I am delighted you like the boards.
I am afraid you will be disappointed about the convention. The nearest gaming convention would be Reaper Con up in the Dallas area. It's a 8 hour drive. To bring the boards I'd either have to make several trips or rent a van. Add to that the expenses of a hotel stay & admission. I just don't see it happening.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Just let me get to Texas some day... What about a Games Convention Tour road trip in a motor home or something?!  ;)

Yesterday I started on three bases for photos: a spooky woods with Evil Moon, a narrow street/alleyway with tall overhanging buildings, & either a sewer or cavern. Each will have foreshorten background scenery. The street & sewer, if it wins out against the cavern, will double as connections to other boards.

...waiting dor the glue to dry:

...the spooky woods board. The Evil Moon will go in the upper right corner. I may try to have mounted so I can swap the Evil Face for the more normal Moon:

...I did some putty & paint work since these were taken. More photos tomorrow...or not.

I have no idea whether that would work. I'm pretty sure the conventions are wide spread as far as location & dates.
I've never gone to a straight gaming convention...I have a problem with crowded places.
Of course, I'd love to see you even if we just go out for some good meals & visit the local sites.

I am presently having a problem accessing my PhotoBucket account. SO there won't be any new photos for awhile.
...BUT WAIT I didn't think this would work, but I tried taking the image address from my Reaper Forum Posts & imbedding it here.
The results are yesterdays update of the Mushroom Forest Background Board. This will be a pain in the lower regions, but a reasonable alternative until the PhotoBucket support people wake up.

Her's where it was yesterday evening:

...more later...maybe.

My PhotoBucket is accessible once more...for the moment. SOhere's the Mushroom Forest as of right now...the stage is more black, white, & gray in actuality:

...the Mushroom in the middle ground:

...AND a hint at the creepiness to come:

...updates later...perhaps.

Thanks for the reply, dino. Creepiness, along with a surreal whimsy, has become my thing.

Thanks for the kind reply, Katsukio. I am delighted you like the stuff.
That would be wonderful. Should you ever find yourself in this part of the World, we'll have to give it a try.

...actually I have known a few girls that I would considered creepy or, perhaps, spooky would be closer to the mark.
