That is a good description of the feel of the place sans a David Bowie vocal.
I've done some groundwork & finished two of the Mushroom: the smiling one in the background & the one in the front row, far left.
It is coming along slowly, but I am have fun with the Beasty.

Yesterday & thus far today, I have finished the big middle ground Mushroom, the smiling background Mushroom & one of his associates along with the towering background Mushrooms:

I finished the board; a couple more coats of gloss on the Puddle & I'll take some pics.

SO sometime Friday I finished up the Mushroom Forest background piece. Photos were taken yesterday. AND today I shall show you the results...such as they are:

...since the thing was made to be the background for miniature photos, I got some volunteers to pose in the setting.

I can identify. There are lots of thing on our forum that leave me speechless...that's my excuse for not posting comments as often as I should.

I finally got back to the Sorcerer. The base with Mushroom & Little Monk is pretty much done, AND the Flying Spell Slinging Faerie is started:

The Little Goblin is a Dark Hold Goblin mini from Rebel Miniatures. He comes with their Goblin Priest or in a pack of ten. I liked the little Guy when I got him with the Priest so much that, when they offered him in a pack of ten, I picked up two packs. I am planning on having him pop up in all sorts of strange places.
