Spooks, eh? I'm not sure if that fellow looks like he might be employed by the CIA, but then you never do know!

I did some work on the (florist foam) Ball Hill:

The Dead Trees are florists wire of a couple varieties covered in hot glue for the upper branches & roots, & Premier Air Dry Clay for the trunk:

The eyes are beads:

Base coated & ready for paint & miniatures:

AND two possible residents:

...until whenever.

I assume the trees are meant to look like arms? (which is brilliant, BTW)

...I wish I had thought of that. I was just going with the dead trees looking like dead trees. The arms idea is much better.
Thanks for the reply, Fram!

Thanks, Tobias. I am happy you like the new stuff.
The Morels do look evil though. The left hand one has the look of a strangler...not a trustworthy Fellow at all.

Thanks again, Tobias. I just did the white over black base coat on the Guys.
I think there will be more; there is something delightfully wicked about them that appeals to me.

The Ball Hill Base is nearing completion:

What will occupy it is anyone's guess. Time will tell...time has a big mouth. Making bases is a satisfying occupation in it's own right...at least, that's my take on the subject.

DeafNala, that big base thing is a lovely idea to be shamelessly stolen for sure!  :D

I really love the way you integrate old GW bitz to your creations - makes me wonder about a Mordheim-like game universe set in a long forgotten magical garden or something...  ;D

And my group's next Victorian Dinosaur Hunting game will be a very perilous Victorian Mushroom Hunting Expedition for sure, thanks to your wicked creativity!  lol

Thanks, dino. Feel free to take any ideas that you like for your own projects...how to questions will be answered if you need advice.
That does remind me. There are some regulars like yourself, Fram, von Lucky, & others whose threads I would love to follow, bit I can't find. If you would, give me a link to your projects.
