That hill is becoming one hell of a confabulation.

We wouldn't have it any other way.  :D

There may eventually be another miniature added to the piece as an antagonist for The Spook, but for now the Spook on the Hill is finished:

Seen here with Leo Sizechek for comparison:

Leo has raised fleeing in terror to an art form:

The Spook's closeup:

The Neighbors:

AND, I was for some reason, which now escapes me, looking for Stumpman. I was pretty sure he was waiting for a base. When I found him I also found I had given him a new base. SO I figured if I forgot all the rest of it...this is a definite sign of imminent senility...I probably forgot to take/post photos of the Old Stump. This will now be corrected...before I forget again:

Leo is seen here demonstrating his famous flurry of heels & elbows escape technique:

Enjoy the weekend!

Your latest creations are great. Like everything on show in your thread, it'd different and evocative. From the latest ones, I particularly like the Spook and the sad head with grass hair next to a purple pond.

Thanks for the kind reply, Duke Donald! I am happy you are enjoying the stuff. I think I'm starting to get in the Halloween Spirit...BOO.

Oh excellent! Nice job with the shelf fungus.

Thanks, Fram. I am delighted you like the stuff...especially the shelf fungus. That is one type that has take awhile to get right.

DeafNala, AWESOME creations as always!  :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Poor Leo, I'm really sorry for him! :o The guy seems to be born with the only purpose to run from a giant or something equally horrible!  ;D

RUN, FOREST LEO, RUN!!!  :o

OH that tree is so cool I love it! I love the style of all these spooky forest dwelling creatures... I think poor Leo should consider moving to another neighbourhood.

Thanks you once more for your kind reply, dino...glad you like it.
Leo does seem to spend his life running from one monster or another.

Thanks for the positive response, Darathar...the morale boost is appreciated. I am happy you enjoy the stuff...mission accomplished so to speak.
I think Leo needs a change of jobs. Making his living running in terror from Horrid Creatures is almost as bad as working for The Donald.

Miss a few days posting & all sorts of things get finished & need posting.
SO the two Witch's Hunter Hunters are receiving some attention. THe Pistol Packing Lady Hunter is done:

Meanwhile her male associate got a bit of a conversion; i.e., the Zombie head he was toting was replaced wit a Flagellant's head:

Then he was base coated:

The Zombie head was just too cool to waste; ERGO, I did a repair job on the back of his head...he will be popping up sometime in the future when least expected:

The Bad Morels got based & base coated:

AND a new Mushroom, the Sentient Cup Mushroom, is in development:

Last & certainly least, another Face to use up the left over green stuff:

Until later...that is a GREAT way of saying "I haven't a clue when next I will post anything".

Is the "girl" the Pathfinder Gunslinger miniature? For a human the sculpt is terrible IMHO, but as a denizen from your Wicked Fungoid Fantasy Forest, it's PERFECT!!!  lol

Great brushwork as usual and perfect palette!  :-*

Thanks, dino! The Girl has a pin head & the tiniest of faces, but somehow she does suit my place nicely...I am not sure if that is a good thing or not.
I am, once more, happy you like the colors.

IMHO, every time a girl suits our place it's a good thing!  :D

The colors AND your painting style!  :-*

But I also like very much your minis in the "grayscale" stage as well! I am planning something like that to suit my new "left handed" painting style in the near future!  ;)
