What kind of stuff is the moss, please? How do you work its texture?

Thanks for the kind response, Dinos. I don't think I could tone down the colors & still be happy with my work. SO I am happy you & others enjoy it.
The moss is Woodland Scenics Fine Turf (T1345 Grass Green). I hot glue it in place, adding a couple of layers of overlapping circular shapes. Then I paint it:
Americana Black Forest Green base & Citron Green dry brushes over the Black Forest before it dries & after.

For some reason, the mushrooms' faces remind me of masks used by Ancient Greek Tragedy actors

Scary looking faces in those shrooms mate, they have really progressed since a few years ago, your sculpting has come on in leaps and bounds!

Thanks for seconding the compliment, Paul. I finished up the green stuffing on twelve more Mushrooms yesterday.
I get up some photos in a bit. If you like the others, you should love these Fungal Loonies.

Yesterday was a much more productive day. I finished up twelve new Mushrooms which will be used on various bases:

Even the friendly smiles are suspect. Folks who spent their lives in bovine excrement tend to have evil natures. From my working life, I can attest to the truth in that.
