I'm not the only one who enjoys your bold choice of colors!
What kind of stuff is the moss, please? How do you work its texture?

Thanks for the kind response, Dinos. I don't think I could tone down the colors & still be happy with my work. SO I am happy you & others enjoy it.
The moss is Woodland Scenics Fine Turf (T1345 Grass Green). I hot glue it in place, adding a couple of layers of overlapping circular shapes. Then I paint it:
Americana Black Forest Green base & Citron Green dry brushes over the Black Forest before it dries & after.

For some reason, the mushrooms' faces remind me of masks used by Ancient Greek Tragedy actors  :)

...now that you mention it, they do have a theatrical mask look to them. Thanks for the reply, Dinos!

Thanks, Matt. I don't always see improvement in what I do. I usually only see it when it is pointed out to me.
I am happy you like the way things are going, AND took the time to say so.

He is right, ya know.
They look seriously expressive.

Thanks for seconding the compliment, Paul. I finished up the green stuffing on twelve more Mushrooms yesterday.
I get up some photos in a bit. If you like the others, you should love these Fungal Loonies.

There's quite a variety of sinister and gleeful expressions among that lot. Don't tread on the mushrooms is the warning here!

Even the friendly smiles are suspect. Folks who spent their lives in bovine excrement tend to have evil natures. From my working life, I can attest to the truth in that.
Thanks for the reply, Fram. Getting the expressions to be expressive is a highlight to the craft for me.
