Thanks, dino. Stunned silence is an eloquent compliment.

The Mushroom Witch & The Tree!
Wow! You find a way to astonish us with every new creation of yours!
First congrats for sculpting the Lady, inspired by the Mushroom pic, but giving your own personal style!
Congrats for the bold colors, ok it is not the first time somebody says that, but the whole set pops!
Congrats for choosing a very interesting angle between the tree and the lady, so as the tree seems to be revolving its face and... its waist to look at her!
The base mushrooms, the shelf mushrooms, the leaves of the tree, all add to the whole... A total beauty!!!  :-*
Cheers!

Thank you for a very kind response, Dinos. It is appreciated. I am delighted you like the Mushroom Witch & The Tree.
It is one of my more complex pieces. It is a wonderfully feeling having it so nicely received.

AND I have my version of Marjory The Trash Heap (Fraggle Rock) underway.
This Jim Henson's Marjory:

This my Trash Heap a la Marjory thus far:

It's a start.

Oh wow! Now there's a blast from the past!

Can't wait to see how she turns out.

Me too! Yesterday I watched a Fraggle Rock episode (with Marjory The Trash Heap featuring-of course) - just to refresh my memory  :)

When I was a kid, the Doozers were the best part for me. In retrospect, whoever got to build the construction site models must've had a blast!

I only got to see a few of the episodes; re, back when they were on the air, I was a Night Shift Guy & rarely home to watch T.V.. What parts of the series I did catch were memorable. It was a wonderfully imaginative setting with interesting characters. I have High hopes for Mags/Marjory.
Thanks for the replies, Guys!

The Tower is getting some attention. The tree is part of the Tower itself with the entryway between the boles. The door will be getting hinges & some sort of steampunky door knob gizmo:

Things may go a bit slower with more than one thing on the go, but nothing loses interest.

Thanks for the kind reply, killshot. I am happy you like the stuff.
Any comparison between my stuff & Jim Henson's work is quite a compliment.

AND YET MORE background Mushrooms! The first one is inspired by a photo my friend, Lazetta, showed me. The extension from the gills reminded me of a shroud; SO a Shrouded Mushroom:

The usual gang of Mushrooms with 4 of 5 complete & a few hanging out in back:

The Fifth Mushroom seems ticked about not getting done with his friends.,,c'est la vie, eh?.
