The expressions just seem to happen. I have a feeling for the Mushroom, Tree, or whatever I am sculpting & the face flows from the feeling if that makes any sense.

I don't know... I always thought you were Scandinavian for some reason... And if not that, definitely not from either Texas or Long Island, haha.

Those Bad Moon shrooms kind of remind me of Jesters too. Jestershrooms.

My Grandpa's grandfather came from Oldenburg; that is almost Swedish. I've been living in Texas for the last nine years. Folks here can still tell I came from somewhere else.  Folks on Long Island though I was a Californian. I might actually be from another dimension.

They do look like Jester's Caps. I think I will do the other two with that idea in mind. Thanks for the reply, Daniel.

Thanks for the reply, Dinos. The ten Mushrooms that I have finished thus far are the small to medium ones. The remaining eleven are larger &, to a degree. more complex.
I have one with a vulture perched on his head underway, & a trio of similar Vulture-less ones trailing along behind.

Today I got an order from Hobby Lobby. It includes a horde of Snail Shells for the Homegrown Snails that Fram suggested:


There were some minis fro Reaper as well, but you'll get to see them as they are painted.

I am getting psyched on doing Snails now also. I picked up the Dark Sword Snail Cartographer a month or two ago. I will use him as inspiration for my own attempts. The small shells will be perfect for more normal sized snails. Obsessions can be FUN.
