Oh me, oh my!  :o

You get the credit if the snails & other shell carrying critters turn out cool. Otherwise, it is all your fault.

Later the same day, I had a little tendril of hot glue that I was going to treat as a root behind one of the Mushroom Trio I was working on. Then I thought more tendrils/tentacles might look cool or creepy. SO:

Late last night I wrapped up a Trio of fiendish-but merry looking Mushrooms:

All the gang is nicely done but the Fiendish but Merry Mushrooms are a catch-eye!
Various purpl-ish hues in contrast with the yellow spots, plus the creepy tentacles, ooh!  :-*

Thank you for the kind reply, Dinos. I am happy you like them...I'm pretty pleased with the Lads myself.
When I am knocking stuff out, each piece seems to get a little better than those that preceded it...or so it seems.

Great colours once again. Loving the new purple scheme!

The second Trio is underway. In stead of the one & done pics, this time I actually have W.I.P. photos.
This is where The Devil's Cup Trio stood before our trip to distant Bee Cave:

Sometime later, I finished the first face:

There should be more photos later should I snap out of the funk.

This one reminds me of Charlton Heston:

These are the last four to be done...this time around:

My wife had a suggestion for yet another type of mushroom: A 'lawyer's wig' mushroom (which are apparently quite tasty), also known as the shaggy inkcap.

Give Mrs. Framson my thanks. Those are BEAUTIES. They are doable with a variety of faces..Marge Simpson perhaps.

...albeit a scary idea.

The first of the last Group is done. It took me awhile to get the colors the way I wanted them, but the next Fellow should just flow:

AND my favorite part of posting; i.e., The Group Pics:

Until whenever.
