Wowie, I'm once again impressed by the amazing awesomeness found in your spooky woods and The Blight  :o

Thank you for the kind reply, LordOdo. I am delighted that you are enjoying the stuff. Your support is greatly appreciated.

despite the distractions of the last few days, I managed to do some faces & such on the next batch of Goblins with an Ogre & an Elf to boot:

Percy & Scratch, above, are from the Bwana Bateye Hunting Party. I was using them for Ogre skin colors.

I am experimenting with some magnifying glasses. Thus far I like the results:

The Elf was started a couple years ago. I am doing him for a RPGer at Jersey Giant Pizza:

There you go.

I have all the bases carved & primed for the first four Blight pieces:

Next step will see the four painted with some wall decorations & clutter.
While they will probably never see a game, they will make fine backgrounds for urban photos...at least I hope so.

Whenever I see the Blight I get crazy with joy!
I love this work of yours! It has such a unique character... so many catch-eye spots... allegories... and many hidden places ;)
More Blight, please!!!

Thanks, Dinos, I am happy you enjoy the place. It is one of those things that never seems to get old & never ceases to inspire new ideas.
Doing some cavern like underground catacomb/sewer areas as separate photo stages might be something to explore as well...I saw some things I might try on C.M.o.N..

Blight, Blight, Blight!  :-*
The faces at the windows, the weird creatures, the living objects...
Oh my!

The Wanted Posters will start appearing soon also...then the revelers from the Eternal Block Party.
I sent you a link to the Blight W.I.P. thread in my Google's Albums, Dinos, so you can keep up with the developments.

I've seen it a few minutes ago, thanks so much!
It is so inspiring!

Get a kinked kick
Feel a twisty twist
No direct light
Yet, nope, it’s bright
Grungy and cracked
And grumpy all right
Pass the crooked door
Watch the spirit’s eye
Mirror your horror
At the neighbourhood of Blight!

I would never have thought my strange creations would inspire poetry other than a limerick that is.
The thing with the Blight is that no matter how bizarre the place gets none of the inhabitants seems to notice.

I do enjoy the blight as well. Nice to see some pieces getting gussied up.

Thanks, Fram. I am happy you like The Bight as well. Having an Urban stage means I can start doing the Tinker's Guild (Wrath of Kings with some Privateer Press Minions), Rat Catchers, & the Eternal Block Party stuff along  with all those Goblins, Faeries, & such.
I don't think I will be running out of things to do for awhile.

I spotted a different looking mushroom on C.M.o.N. which I modified ever so slightly:

I think they will get on famously with the Goblins.

They say that fungi have an extraterrestrial origin, but now I believe it more and more!
An entirely new species, really! Awesome!  :o Eager to see them painted! Cheers!

When I first read the title I thought it was spicy mushrooms.  These will be a good addition.
