All I've got to say for now is that those goblins are very definitely by Tony DiTerlizzi.  ;D

Ought to fit in very well, once painted!

Thanks for the reply, Fram. They are inspiring little creations.
I have been looking over the hordes of miniatures that I hope to finish over the next few years. I have manage to acquire some lovely pieces.
I hope I do them justice or, at least, a level of mercy.

Spike of the Gobbapalooza Gang got started yesterday. Once I got over the detail intimidation, I have found the The Gang are enjoyable minis to paint:

more later...or not.

Lovely new additions, as always, Amigo!
 :-* :-*

I am really digging those long tufts that you are using and will have to get hold of something similar for a new terrain project that I have planned.
 :D

(P.S. Sorry for not commenting for a while but I have been having trouble seeing your pictures. I am guessing it is something to do my interwebby goblins as no-one else has mentioned it. The gremlins appear to have left the premises now as I can see everything just fine, if a little slow to appear).

The face you painted is outstanding!  :o
A bizarre figure, I'm eager to see it finished!
And your unique basing! Always adding to the story!
Cheers!

Thanks for the reply, Paul. I am happy you like the new stuff.
I can't find fault with not posting replies; re, I rarely manage to comment outside my own thread.
Some one else mentioned that it was taking a long time for the pics to show up. AND I, quite often, get a 504 or 404 errors loading the photos. When I check later they are up & visible, but the errors still occurred. SO it might be a Forum problem with large numbers of pics posted/viewed all at once.

Thanks, Dinos. I am delighted you like the face. I have been using a pair of magnifying glasses (Eyejusters) I got from MicroMark. They really seem to help with the details.
The new minis seem to have had a positive influence on my imagination. The settings suggest themselves as I work on the minis...AND they keep coming & getting more interesting.

AND Reaper's 44027 Terror Fish, which, in true Dali fashion, is now a Flying Terror Fish (fromHELL!):

You now have a pretty good idea as to why I have so much stuff in backlog.

It is good having you drop by for a visit, DivisMal. Thanks for the kind reply. I am happy you enjoy the stuff.

In this case, the Deep Sea Critter is flying around topside...he may be peopling (as opposed to fishing).
When I saw the Terror Fish in the Reaper listing, I KNEW I had to give it wings.

Spike has gotten a little more colorful:

More later...later being some vague time in the the future.

Is the third eye part of the sculpt, or a flourish of your own addition?

G.W. gets the credit for the third eye along with the extra set of legs...I am starting to think of Spike as Crazy Legs.
The Goblin Sculptors at G.W. are pleasantly imaginative & decidedly nuts...at least, lately.

Re: The Last Hurrah Project: 07/24/19 Gobapalooza's Spike DONE!
« Reply #6598 on: 24 July 2019, 07:52:56 PM »
What's in a name? I was starting to think of Spike as Crazy Legs. Then our Fram asked if the third I was something extra that I had added to the mini...it is a G.W. embellishment. That started the wheels spinning, The Hindu Folks I have had the pleasure of meeting have a dot/black spot over & between their eyes, It is their third eye to God. SO I looked up the translation of "crazy legs" to Hindi = paagal pair. ERGO Spike is now Paagal Pair The Potion Peddler:

The Bad Moon Mushroom disapproves...it's his/their thing:

Their you have him/them/whatever.

This project keeps on delivering. :) It's so freed of the usual stuff everybody seems to bother about with 3d printing, renders, 'details', overdesigned high-fantasy stuff, miniature ranges, all that crap... it's like coming to a place of peace and just getting to enjoy the wonderfully strange creations you post for our enjoyment. Thanks.
