If there was ever an instance where the adjective "festooned" (what a great word) was more appropriately applied...

"Festooned" is, indeed, one of those WONDERFULLY expressive words. It is more evocative than "cluttered"...more positive as well.

One of your most excellent concepts for basing! Cheers!

Agree - lovely. I have to say, your ability to stay true to your vision is admirable. But then the Word of DeafNala is a broad church. ;)

I do cover a lot of territory with my stuff, but as long as it all works together that is okay...it keeps things interesting.

+1 !!!

...glad you agree, my Friend!

Agree - EX-cellent basing. One of the better goes at actually creating the illusion of actual flight that I've seen on these forums.

Thanks, Fram. I am glad you like the base & the flight effect...I wasn't sure how well that came off.
AND the now base coated Terror Fish with added mushrooms...for flavor:

The entire Mollog Mob plus the Flying Terror Fish:

Until whenever.

A kaleidoscope of colors! Sculpts of high imagination, garnered with your mushrooms!
Each base is a one-of-a-kind creation! I like the yellows and oranges of Smoking Joe!

...I do have an expansive palette. I am delighted  you like the latest addition, Dinos.
The new G.W. plastic Goblins have been a joy to paint. The way they assemble gives a fine definition to the pieces which makes the brushwork a snap.

Re: The Last Hurrah Project: 08/19/19 Fungal Queen & Stone Lurker W.I.P.

I spotted the Fungal Queen when I was gathering a Reaper order for Cap'n John. She looked elegant & I hoped she wouldn't be too tall. I picked up a Stone Lurker (Storoper) for the Cavern while I was at it:

She was too tall & her cap was covered wit texturing that looked like paving stones. The cap got scraped clean, green stuffed, & detailed:

I added caps to the mushroom stems on the base:

Then the Girl got the white over black treatment:

Here she is with Moolag for a size comparison. Rumors that they are an "item" are pure fabrication...she doesn't go for short Guys:

The Stone Lurker got the black & white as well:

Have a good night!

Thanks, Dinos! I have hopes for the Girl & the Beasty.
Meanwhile the last of the Gobbapalooza Mob is nearing completion. That will mean YET MORE photos!
