I have hopes for the Snail...& maybe a few more mushrooms for the base.
The Goblins in the Box are mostly GameZone pieces. There are some really nuts characters in the mix.

YET ANOTHER Mushroom base is ready for some color. This one has an out-of-production G.W. Night Goblin Wizard lowering property values along with a couple of Bad Attitude Stalagmites:

I do a layer of sand over the plumber's epoxy putty for texture.

I paint the putty with thinned tacky glue; then I sprinkle on the sand; & shake off the excess.
The sand is from a craft store (Michael's). They a have a variety of grits & colors.

SO yesterday I had a need to do up another Tree base. This is where it was when my bed started calling to me:




This morning I finished twisting the wire branches, AND did the teased hot glue treatment to the branches:








Finally I did the green stuff face & the air dry clay bark:










Tomorrow he will get a Workable Fixative spray to seal the clay. Then it is on to the details. What miniature or miniatures to appear on the base is yet to be decided...silly is guaranteed.

Still the most weirdly beautiful thread on LAF!! I have been in lurk mode a while and missed much of what you have done the last months - it will be cool to get caught up with your projects, Nala! You are incredibly prolific!
