The FDR Shroom is quite excellent.  Nice work.

Thanks, syrinx0. I am glad you like him!

Very original, full of character... And I like his glasses!  :-*

Thanks, Dinos, I am glad you like him. The suggested glasses& cigarette holder worked out nicely.

Love the recent additions, especially the FDR inspired Shroom  :-*

At some point I'm going to have to put an afternoon aside to look back through all 500+ pages of this glorious thread as I'm sure I must have missed some of the mushrooms.

I'd like to say that your work on both mushroom's caps is very well done, with fine color transitions and beautiful contrast with the spots! Cheers!

Thanks for the kind reply, Dinos. The caps are the most time consuming part of the painting. I am happy you like the results.

This is the time of the year that reflecting on what was accomplished over the past months crosses my mind. Here are some group shots of those Mushroom & Friend that had been seen here individually:

There are some Mushrooms that have been given away & as such are not around for the group photos.

Thanks, Bret. I am glad you liked the pics.
There is something about group photos that appeals to be. It might have something to do with the massed table top/floor war games of my misspent youth.
I hadn't thought about the Christmas angle, but it does look like a family gathering.

Wonderful stuff, Al!
It is always a treat to see your productions en masse, a real feast for the eyes.

I have always thought that you should be asked to provide the characters for a stop-motion film, I am sure it would be entrancing.
