I'm in awe with that board! Having a game in that scenery would be really great!
And the artist wasn't less than the artwork  lol

Thanks for the kind reply, randycarter! I am happy you like the board & delighted you like the artist...a little surprised as well!

it deserves more attention, like the rest of your work, its a fantastic creation and back drop to your many others.

Not in the least matched by the atmospheric picture of the creator, in his home environment. its great to see the master of fungal mischief himself!

Thanks for the kind reply, Tactalvanic. I am happy you like the Woods & that disreputable Old Man.
The revisit has gotten such a pleasant response that I am thinking of a revisit to the other boards as well.

It is good to hear from you, Bloggard! I am happy you enjoyed the tour of the Old Board & the photo of the Old Man. The morale boost is appreciated.

The board is wonderful! It would be nice to see some of your cast of characters easing on down that road.

Cool photo of the artist, as well. Although I admit to a certain disappointment in discovering that you have no mushroom characteristics, yourself.  lol

Thanks for the reply, Bret. I am happy you like the Woods. I started taking some revisit photos of The Witches' Isles. I will be sure to show off some minis that inhabit/infest the place.

No mushroom visible in the photos...let's leave it at that.

I may or may not have had to apply some ointments to remove a mushroom scourge at some point in my younger, sportier life... it was either that or slowly turn into a tree trunk  lol

You never hear trees complaining about their lot in life...or rarely.

lol  I share your's and Fram's pain, and need for privately sourced unguents ...

'sentinel silent stands a tree,

the only lines of the only poem I've ever attempted to write. you read 'em here first.

Poetry is one of the literary forms that I have with a few exceptions left to other Folk as well.
You did do a fine job of it, Bloggard!

The Spooky Woods Board proved to be surprisingly popular on other Fora & FaceBook. SO I thought I would do the same with some of the other Boards. With the greater amount of details on of the other Boards, I will post photos a few at a time.
This is an overview of the Witches' Isles of Langerhans:

Closeups will follow...be warned.

These wonderful and boards are packed with detail and character.  Very compatible from a color pallet perspective to your current work.  Have you ever considered a showing of your entire collection? I could see how an October viewing at a venue friendly to families could be a hit.

It would be wonderful to have my stuff on display. As things stand I rarely get to show anyone my work other than the photos I post.

If I was the kind who went off to exotic islands for vacations, that place would be at the top of my list.

Fantastic, Al!
