One of the things I have learned in the process of becoming an Old Cat Man, is that cats are far from aloof; it's more that they will return what is given to them. An independent cat is an independent cat and there's nothing wrong with that, but a very affectionate cat is typically one who is reciprocating the affections shown to them by their owner. (This also holds true for vocalization: A talky cat is one who is frequently spoken to).

Which is a long-winded way of my saying it seems Marty likely feels the same about you as you do him.  ;) 8)

Marty certainly isn't aloof with me. He is my little shadow. I do talk to him quite a lot...I am trying not to add "y"s to words. I am not sure if he talks back; he might be out of my hearing range at this stage. Damnit The Cat used to tell me cat stories when I would let him in or out of the house.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Yesterday I managed to work up enough energy to finish The Spook. I may add a few mushrooms, but other than that he is done:

As is the way with photos, this patch pointed out a couple of spots that needed touching up, which I then did. Until whenever!

I really like the blending on his ragged cloak there, and the ghostly tombstone faces came out really good.

Thanks, Fram. I have been getting a fair amount of practice blending colors since I have been limited to larger miniatures. I am happy you like the results.

They always look best once the base is finished.  The little gravestone spirits are great.

Thanks, syrinx0! I agree that a miniature isn't finished until its base is done. The base provides a setting,
I am happy you like the Gravestone Spirits. They add to the fun of the piece I think.

Thanks, randycarter! I am glad you like the rags...glad rags?. I am hoping to do some more smaller Spooks using the same methods as the big guy. We will see.

Looking at my wardrobe, I would have to admit I like rags also.
