Thanks, Fram. I am happy you like the new colors. I have been trying for more diverse color schemes. It is SO easy to get in a rut of go-to colors. When I put in an order with Deco Art for restock of standard paints, I ordered a bunch of new ones as well:


...I may have gone a tad overboard.
I am also taking advantage of the large size of the Mushroom to use a wetter palette & greater blending of colors...glad you noticed.

As always when I am away for a bit, there are whole volumes to catch up on in this thread! Good to see you are still shrooming, Al! And I love the shot of all your Art Deco paint colors. For some reason, though, I expected about three times as many purples!

I have a box devoted to purples & violets in addition to a couple of racks & other boxes. The Deco Art shown are jusr new acquisitions...sigh.

I have to make/paint more stuff constantly like a shark has to keep in motion. I have four more Mushrooms plus supporting cast finished, ready for basing, & for photos with some more in the works. I seem to be getting my mojo back; AND, while my eyes are still not cooperating, I have become acclimated to the condition. I hope to be adding miniatures to the mix soon.

The background pieces are a pair of Mushroom Witches & a Big Dual-personality Mushroom. The Two Faced Fellow is now done along with a few others. The Witches are underway. There are quite a few Mushroom in backlog AND a lot of basing to do.

Thank, syrinx0! I an happy you like them. The added detail gives them a new look. I just have to avoid doing it on every Mushroom I make or it will get old.
