I am always excited when you take pictures in the Spooky Woods! All your creations blend perfectly in the environment, as if they were living their whole life there! Mushrooms with striking colors, beautiful flesh tones and all this enhanced by the so good basing you always make! All the shrooms are unique, but I will especially comment on the Morels! The Witch is impressive, too! A lot of good jobs, well done!

Thanks once more for the kind reply, Dinos. I am happy you are still enjoying the Mushrooms & the photos.
I was relieved to have finally finished this batch. Now I am excited about completing the last three Witches & starting on some new stuff.

The morels and toothy boys are great, but I love the "Mushroomception" fellow with the ring of smaller mushrooms on his cap - that one has turned out grand as anything.

Thanks, Fram. I appreciate your kind reply. I wish I could take all the credit for the idea of the little mushrooms on the cap, but I think I got the original idea from either some of the newer G.W. Goblin pieces or Maho. I have expanded on it though. I am pretty pleased with how that Fellow turned out also.

It was a fairly productive weekend. In addition to a bunch of new toadstools, I got a good start on the Faerie Wing Witch's base & sculpted, base coated a new type of Mushroom; he looks some where between the Creature from the Black lagoon & Frankenstein's Monster.
The Mushroom from the Black Lagoon:

I had, for me, a fairly productive day today; i.e., I started, finished, based, & took photos of the new style ambulatory Mushroom aka The Mushroom from The Black Lagoon.
Seen here on The Spooky Woods photo stage:

That is it for January!

Thanks, Dinos. I am glad you like him. He was fun to make & has the creepy, scary look I was trying for. Making a horde of the Beasties would be cool; I don't see it happening, but it would be cool.

Thanks for the reply, syrinx0. Yes he does. I got the idea/inspiration from a kick starter I saw some where or other. There were a few of them arrayed like a small unit. I added the Goblin style point, curly shoe in lieu of the feet the kick starter mushrooms had AND added the sinewy arms & big clawed hands. I am thinking of doing more for a unit feel.

Today, having overcome inertia, I finished the base for the Faerie Witch.

Now I just have to finish the Witch.

Until nextime...whenever that is.

I finished another of the Mushroom Witches last night. Today I took some photos:
