Should old acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne?

For auld lang syne, My Dears;
For auld lang syne,
We will taste a cup of kindness yet
For auld lang syne.|

HAPPY NEW YEAR, my Dear Friends!

I'd gladly share a cup of kindness! We need more of that in the world these days.

Considering how things are shaping up here in the USA, a cup of kindness sounds awfully good...a gallon or two might be more like it though.

I have two BIG versions of the Pod style Thingies ready to paint.
Seen here with Leo Sizechekt for scale:

More pics when they are painted...someday.

I finished the first Pod Thingy earlier today & have the second of two underway:

I hope to get the second done before the weekend. Then I will be heading to the hills quite literally. I'm also hoping to start doing some regular minis while various things dry on the hills.
Progress pic whenever I make progress...whenever that is.

Those are indeed awesome and disturbing, giving me thoughts of Lovecraftian things.

Bright in colour, dark in their intent. Very evocative.

The smaller ones seem at first quite harmless fun things, but those, less so. Start to wonder what they feed on to get that big.

Thanks, Tactalvanic. I am happy you like them. With strange things size does make a difference; i.e., the bugger they gey the more disturbing they seem. In this case, the addition of the eyes adds to their overall creepiness.
The pod things evolved as I made them, Initially I was thinking of the pods from Body Snatcher.
& just got more actively aggressive.

Thanks, Dinos! I am happy you are enjoying the pods. It won't be all that long to see the second of two done. I have the beasty well underway. I am hoping to have them ready to ship early next week.
