Well it isn't much of an update, but, what the heck, I thought I'd get your reaction to the First of the Pumpkinheads. SO here he is:

Your commentary would be OH-SO-COOL...probably.

Well here's a cool comment. Very nice work by the way ;)

Edit: well that was meant to look icy, as it is it just made it hard to read :(

Warm, cool, or just plain hard to read, I'm glad you liked the mini. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks MUCHO for the kind words, Onemanworkshop. Feel free to take any ideas that you like & make them your own; if you need any "how to" explanations, let me know & I'll provide them.

Lovely again, DeafNala!

Your choice of colours works really well.
I do not know if I would have even considered that combination, but it certainly has worked a treat!

Thanks, Amigo! Someone once told me that using the three primary colors makes for a powerful presentation; I fall back on their advice whenever I want to catch the viewer's attention...seems to work.

YET ANOTHER Melon Flavored Fellow underway:

To accommodate a somewhat larger Jack O' Lantern, I used an Orc torso & arms. Strange, eh?

A very good looking start, DeafNala.

Thanks, Mason. I have the Big Guy (50mm from the bottom of his shoes to the top of his stem) all primed & ready for painting. I still have a second pack of Jack O' Lanterns; SO, it looks like there will be at least 8 minis in the Gang....I'll keep you posted as things develop.

Thanks for the kind words, DowVooVoo. While it may not be all that wonderful for your finances, it's great to have a new excuse for yet more minis...excuses are to be cherished.

Some small progress...here's the new, W.I.P. Pumpkin on the block:

He's another of the larger Jack O' Lanterns. This time with Goblin legs, Empire Militia boots, Orc Torso, & Empire General arms...he'll never get a passport.

AND the first Big Pumpkinhead is completed:

The growing Group:

As always comments & critiques would be WILDLY APPRECIATED...for the most part.

These look great, DeafNala!

 :-* :-* :-*

A great concept and execution.
I cant wait to see the whole gang.
Have you any intention of gaming with them and, if so, what rules do you intend to use?
Or maybe you are just making them for the fun of it...

Either way, you are on to a winner!

Great work, keep it up, Amigo!

Thanks, Mason!
While I always intend the minis & stuff I do for gaming, I don't often get to do the gaming part myself; most of my creatures wander off for use in other Folk's games. I have, however, come up with a set of patched together solo rules that I use occasionally.
