Thanks, Guys...glad you like it so far. I'll try to update Heep's Place by the weekend.

i must have missed the old cave, i like them both. pink construction foam? what did you use for glue?

It's easy to miss things in this thread...I know I do.
I used my glue gun on the small to medium sections of foam (mix of blue & pink); on the large pieces I used Liquid Nails Project Glue...it's okay for foam, although it takes quite awhile to dry.

While I'm at it, here's the latest Pumkinhead:

As always comments & critiques are most welcome...more or less.

Thanks, Anatol! I'm glad you like my stuff...it's a small payback for all the inspiring things you post. I must admit this is undoubtably the most enjoyable project I've thus far undertaken.

More lovliness, DeafNala.
Good to see you are back in the saddle.
Looking forward to seeing where your wacky mind takes this one.....

I use wood glue to stick mine, and pin it together with cocktail sticks while it is drying.
I just snap the bits that are sticking out off when it is dry, for added strength in the construction.

Thanks MUCHO, Guys! Your kind commentary is a real motivating factor with moi. I intend to keep at it until they try to pry the brush from my cold, lifeless hand...even then I'll try to bite the So&Sos.

AND NOW the new Kid on the Block...in a manner of speaking:

The Pistol Packing Pumpkin:

At the risk of being repetitious, your comments, critiques, & offers of monetary rewards would be MOST WELCOME...especially the latter bit.

  • Pedantic bugger, apparently.
Love the Pumpkinheads, particularly the sleepy-eyed, yawning ones.
Back from the dead, almost.

Great stuff, DeafNala!

Individually they look great, but when you show the whole gang the effect is spectacular!
The vibrant colours really make them pop.

(If you are considering adding to them, you may want to take a look at what Rapier have to offer, even if it is only for inspiration)-

Thanks again for all the kind commentary, Guys! There's nothing quite so motivating as a bit of praise; at my age, motivation is a necessary component of creativity...& breathing.

Love the Pumpkinheads, particularly the sleepy-eyed, yawning ones.

I'm rather fond of those faces also, Steve....great minds & all that. Funny thing is they're the only ones to which I've had a negative reaction.

Thanks for the link, Mason...it does give moi some new ideas.

Why? Who could be negative about work like this?

The negative came from my Amigo, Mordheimer; he just didn't like the slitty-eyes on the Pumpkinhead...different stroke or lack of taste, take your pick. Since Himself normally is a source of gushing praise, an occasional "yuck" comment is okay.
