Whooo whooooo - he's lovely.

I did a quick search for "owl 28mm" and found Manniken Studios:

Sculpts based on Arthur Rackham illustrations. There's another influence I see in your work DeafNala.

Thanks, von Lucky. It was a bit fiddly removing most of the base, but the mini(s) do look good on their new cobblestone base.
I had seen the Puss & Boots minis before, but the others are new to moi. VERY NICE STUFF...a little out of my price range, but nice nonetheless.

This is one of those instances where I started out with the mini & adapted the scenery to fit it. I'm not sure what type of Owl/coloring I'm going for...yet.
Coming up with some disreputable types will be the next miniature challenge. I have a feeling there will be some Night Goblin conversions in the works.

Great idea!
 :D

Looking forward to seeing Mick and his Bird painted up.
That is a great little sculpt, full of character.
Painted in your style it will look a treat.

Thanks, Paul. I had picked up the Duo a couple of months ago; around the same time I picked up a bunch of Stone Haven Dwarfs & Gnomes...it was a short, hairy thing. The more disreputable of the lot will fit in nicely with the Snow White Crime consortium.

Or just for one day.

David Bowie isn't the current Goblin King, DeafNala is.

That could be fun; sort of like dropping in on the 60's sans The War. AND my Goblins are a MERRY Group of Loonies.

Thanks, von Lucky. I wonder if they make a Labyrinth sequel as planned who will play the Goblin King...David might be a tad too old...or not.

SO, after searching & buying a bunch of likely candidates for the position, I found The Perfect mini when I did my latest reorg of The Workshop from HELL!. She's an O.O.P. Enigma Steam Punk Voodoo Witch Babe. At a towering 40 mm she will dwarf her underlings...since they are mostly Short Folk, this isn't much of an accomplishment. With the surrealistic look of my stuff, she should fit right in. Here she is posing with The Owl Rider:

Thanks, Fram. I resisted the urge to say: "Cool! Where?"...sort of. I have high hopes for The Girl...she has such a WONDERFULLY BAD attitude.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.
