Oh this is a new, er, escalation. And a very well-executed one, I might add.

To the unwary, they might seem friendlier than the mushroom folk, but...

Thanks, Fram. "Escalation" is a good way of putting it. I'm glad you like them.
AND you are absolutely correct. Seemingly friendly Pansies that try to chat you up while you are scaling a thorny vine are not to be trusted...they obviously have their own agenda.

Thanks, von Lucky. That made me think of The Flower by Henry Gibson:

It started with a kiss...

...never thought it would end up like this.

Of course you couldn't just do regular vines  ;) Loving the flower people. They look suitably up-nosy and mischievous. No wonder the shrooms are pissed.

Thanks for the reply, qazbnm! My Internet took the Holiday off, so I'm late in responding...I never would have thought AT&T was religious.
Now that you mention it, there is a bit of deviltry about the Flowers...the Mushrooms are more down to earth. Given half a chance they both grow on you...in more ways than one.

The flowers look great, I totally get the Michaels girl's reaction...
I can understand the 'shroomfolk wanting to nip their problem in the bud.  lol

Funny, I sign my (more favoured) minis as well, but I don't date them (I do take them out for special occasions though...  ;) )

Thanks, Modhail! I just got a picture of what the Floral Department would look like if I was in charge...a Goth Michael's. I'll have to suggest it next time I need supplies.

The signature has proved to be popular with the Folks that have bought my stuff or received them as gifts. My erstwhile friend, Karen, the retail pro, said in increased perceived value. Way back when I started signing, two of the Guys in my AD&D Group thought that signing the stuff was a fine way of differentiating our pieces...the fact that our styles were totally different didn't enter the equation. Too late did I realize they also thought of the painting as some form of competition; when they came to the conclusion that they couldn't compete (I had been painting for 15 years before they picked up a brush), they quit painting...this is one of the reasons I dislike painting competitions so fanatically.

Well as I've been preoccupied with the New PC & its predilection for sudden crashes, but I have be able to mount up & prime the Dark Hold Goblins I got from Rebel Miniatures:

The Porcine Knights & their Loyal Retainers:

The Brave (Adventures) Heroes:

AND Fearless HenchGoblins:

Due to their unique dental problem I've dubbed them The Overbite Clan.
Comments, suggestion, orders to cease & desist would all be appreciated.

Superb work as always DN!

Those flower faces are fantastic, very original idea. Has a real creepy 'brothers grimm' feel
To them

Thanks for the kind reply, Jim!
The Brothers Grimm Faerie Tale thing seems to be edging out Labyrinth & giving Salvador Dali a run for his money.

  • But maybe everything that dies, someday comes back
These all fit so wonderfully with your existing stuff.

Also, yay for an update. For your compouter, perhaps you need to consult a nefarious cryptomancer. We all know computers are only fixed through shady deal in parking lots built over ancient burial grounds.
