You know that I am a big fan of all your 'Shrooms, but I must say that they are hogging the limelight whilst those absolutely wonderful, characterful trees of yours pose calmly and magnificently in the background.

Thanks, Paul. The Trees seem to take it all rather stoically...other than the carnivorous one that is.

It proved to be too dark for photos today, but here are a couple of The Eye in the Wall anyway:

That's astonishing, Deafn. I hope one day to play a game on such a beautiful table!
Great work!

Thanks, randy. I'm glad you like the boards & stuff.
It would be cool to have you drop by for a game...something to keep in mind if you're ever in the Austin area.

That's a VERY nice way of putting it...thanks, weismonsters!
Staring at the boards can conjure up fantasy scenes...of course, in my case, that could be imminent senility again.

You'd be most welcome. Every so often, Cap'n John talks about catching a berth on a freighter & heading to Europe. If we ever do, I'll look you up.

Awesome. Don't mind about the photo's being too dark. It feels like walking into a grim(m) like fantasy forest, where one just took the wrong turn but is too fascinated by those weird mushrooms to turn back in time  :).
Do you mean to use this for club/shop display, or is it just releasing your creative inner self?

I LOVE Italian cuisine...the food would be worth the trip.

Thanks, Duncan. Although I seem to say this with every post, I am glad you like the stuff.

The Mushrooms for MoM & the Witch's Wagon for floedebolle will be off to Germany once I finish some minis for floedebolle. They are destined to be used in their Mordheim games. Everything else is in an ars gratia artis mode.

SO it's ANOTHER case of one thing leading to another. Pingo from the Reaper Forum gave me the idea for an Faerie/Goblin Tree House from which the Goblin Hovel sprang. It looked perfect for Rapunzel's Twisted Tower, but one or two more would be EVEN cooler. AND now I have a Village underway...it's all Pingo's fault.
Be that as it may, here's what it looks like thus far:

This little hut has been named Scary Mary's:

...that's Mary looking out the back window:

...Gargoyle's place:

...there you have it thus far.

My, you have been a busy boy.
Great looking buildings.
I particularly like the warped windows, they even make my eyes go wonky looking at them.

I really like your universe ! It feels like something between beetlejuice, classic (in a good way) fantasy and baroque faerie tales (think about Dark Crystal movie, for instance).
