My, you have been a busy boy.
Great looking buildings.
I particularly like the warped windows, they even make my eyes go wonky looking at them.
 :-* :-*

Thanks, Paul. I slipped these in while I was working on the Mushrooms for MoM & the Witchy Wagon plus some Old Citadel stuff for flordebolle..."Old" does not always mean good; SO the break kept moi motivated.
The widows & doors do play tricks on the eyes. They follow the crooked lines of the buildings...crooked is my thing.

I really like your universe ! It feels like something between beetlejuice, classic (in a good way) fantasy and baroque faerie tales (think about Dark Crystal movie, for instance).

Thanks, sundayhero! If my stuff reminds you of any of those films, that is quite a compliment.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Looking great already.
Can't wait to see it painted up, but that won't surprise you  :).

Thanks for the reply, Duncan. We're in agreement; I can't wait to see it painted up either.

Well said. I didn't think about Beetlejuice but I think that feeling is there too! :)

It's one of those places that you only ever see out of the corner of your eye or outlined on the horizon against a setting sun; too wonderful for the mundane world. I'm so looking forward to where this latest addition is going to lead.

Actually I didn't think of Beetlejuice either, but now that it has been mentioned I can see it...I just need a flashing neon sign.

Thanks for the reply, LordB! That's how I see the Lands of Faerie; i.e., they are there but the mind rejects the possibility of their existence...the way teenagers deny the existence of their younger siblings.

Ho now! Is this the slums of the slums. you've hit upon here? The shanty town even worse off than the shabby neighbourhood which surrounds it?

Goblins do add a certain style to their abodes the could best be described as slum chic..."there goes the neighborhood" is a positive statement in Goblin Town.
At any rate, I think the possibilities for fun with this one are legion.

Thanks for the kind reply, Randy! I'm glad you like the stuff.
Now that I've FINALLY finished the Mushrooms for MoM & the last of floedebolle's Old Hammer for Mordheim minis I can get cracking on my own ideas...once the post commission/exchange inertia is overcome. These are the last of floedebolle's own:

Going with the original Faerie/Goblin Tree idea proposed by Ping of Reaper Forum Fame, I have The Pingo Tree underway. The seemingly dead tree has more life to it the you would imagine.

There will be some Mushrooms of varying levels of awareness & other such embellishments added as the Beasty progresses. Whether it becomes a wandering scenery piece or a vignette is another question. Be that as it may, I hope you like the Pingo Tree...feel free to comment if you do...or don't.
