From Lurker to Member!

Hello everybody!

It was the upcoming season 5 of the LPL that prompted me to actually sign up for an account here and start contributing. It just seems like a lot of fun!

Anyway, name's Martin, I live in Sweden where I play games, paint miniatures and generally try not to spend to much money on it all. Most of the models I own at this time are from GW, but it's been years and years since I actually played any of the big two. I do however still enjoy their smaller stuff like Necromunda and Battlefleet Gothic.

In recent years I've been more focused on 10 and 15mm in the form of Heavy Gear and different games involving spaceships. That's actually how I got started with my blog; when I lived in Japan I had a lot of time to paint so I bought two Full Thrust fleets from GZG and started blogging about how that project progressed. Fire Broadside! has now grown to include all my gaming (and sometimes non-gaming) interests so feel free to have a look if you're curious.

Hmm... a bit longer than I had planned. Well, it's great to be here! Right now I think I'll head on over to the future wars forum and look around.

Necromunda's fun, not had any exposure to BFC though, myself. 15mm gaming is slowly dragging me down these days it seems.

With the upcoming LPL I think there'll be more miniature related posts again after a period of RPG domination. Hehe!

I might have missed it, but which RPG system are you using for the undead-fightin' sessions you narrate on the blog? Seems like either 4e or the Warhammer Fantasy RPG?
