Empire of the Dead upcoming West Wind game!

Apologies no intention to be overly facetious. I guess I am just too used to people in some forums (although not here I must say) expecting things to be free.

I know some companies do worry that even paid for digital copies get pirated quickly - and again no suggestion that would apply here.  Still if you don't ask you will never get.  Maybe an email to them would be in order, I have always found them very helpful and honest about such things.

Agree though the rule set is pretty impressive and have played it several times now with friends.  Personally am really looking forward to the middle of April.  Not played much CinC or other gothic horror games but do love the genre.

No offense taken, as I'm sure none was offered.
I fully understand the worries and am always pleasantly surprised when a company offers up their rules as a pdf. It is a risky venture and not something you see from many companies, especially at initial release.

My hope is that I can get a set of the rules in time to use them for a large game I'll be running at Kubla Con here in California, in late May.

I've sent a request to West Wind for any information on a release date and hope to hear back soon.

Good News! I just got an e-mail from Wendy Cooper at West Wind. The rules will be available for pre-order this week and ready to ship April 30.

According to the Westwind forum copies will be available at Salute.

My only issue with the wolves is there only seems to be two poses, with a pack type 'unit' you really need at least three.

I think that there will be products available at Salute as far as I am aware I shall findard Salu out tomorrow and update.  But the last I heard Salute was the day of launch with mail orders out on the 30th.

Those box sets look really sweet to me. The Brotherhood and the Vampire clan are particulary cool. Actually, I love all of them. I guess I shall have to pre-order the rulebook.
