You are correct, I'm part of a game store.  And it's a shame Wyrd did their plasticrap so that ended it for us.  Which is the whole reason I'm making the switch.  I figure 4 or 5 rule books to start and the same of all the box sets should be enough to kick start Empire.  Let them use whatever they want and go! 

I suppose plasticrap would be ok.

I really don't get this at all.  Care to elaborate? 

The Wyrd plastic figures that I have seen have been pretty well detailed and hardly "crap" at all.  I don't like the extra stylization they have, but that is a design issue not a materials one.

Empire of the Dead seems like an awesome game, so hopefully you can get it to catch on in your gaming group.

We are currently listening to the audio book version of Sense and Sensibility with Sea Monsters (unabridged 8 disc set, got it from Poundland).
Quite a few good bits for gaming.

Having finished the full set I'd say it has potential for more factions with an aquatic theme. Mermen or seawitches as Nosferati, deep ones or large amphibians as Lycaon (although they are not so affected by full moon but may be affected by high tides, and perform better in thick fog or rain as they can breathe more easily).
