ATTN: Calgary Strange Aeons Players!

I can't remember if this has been mentioned at all in these forums--I know posting about this has slipped my mind (when it totally shouldn't have); so I thought I'd post it today.

Great White (comic & game store) is hosting Strange Aeons gaming nights every Tuesday evening (and has been doing so since mid-January) right now. Great White also carries the entire Strange Aeons line along with a decent selection of Reaper's Chronoscope range of figures.

Also, staff there do play the game and are on hand Tuesday nights to show people how it works. Indeed, on slower Tuesdays (as they are wont to be in January and February), staff have also played--meaning, if you're the only guy you know that plays the game, you'll have some people to play against even if you show up by yourself.

Bonus fringe benefit: Uncle Mike lives in Calgary and has come by for a few of the games nights so far, so you can go toe-to-toe with the games author!

I'm hoping to grow a bigger player base; though right now, it's not too shabby: we have three regulars every week plus another three-to-six guys who show up more sporadically. With more regular players, some spare time and some luck, I'm hoping to launch a more thematically-defined campaign (still letting the preliminary ideas bubble away in my head). But, yeah, I'd like to get it so that more guys are showing up more regularly before I inflict invest them in a story-driven campaign.

Strange Aeons runs every Tuesday from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. (but should enough players show up earlier, they can start playing earlier.)

Once I get more stuff painted up, perhaps I'll get around to posting some pictures here. (I also keep meaning to do a blog post or two about the game.)

I'll be at Great White Tuesday April 19 (tomorrow night) but have serious doubts about my ability to meet at Chinook Starbucks on Saturday (I have to work that night...but am guy #3 on a usually slow shift--so it could be conceivable).
