Some of my Cthulhu Monsters
« on: February 16, 2011, 09:19:34 PM »
Here are some of my Cthulhu monsters.

"Narly"

"Puffems"

"The Twins"

and the other kids form the neighborhood

The twins came with another small demon but the picture sucked so I left it out.
Thanks

"Gnarly" Narly  :D

That's a nice effect on the trunk/probosis too.
I've always had a soft spot for the Elder Thing (in the other kids group)...
Now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb...

Love the colour scheme on 'narly', where are Puffems and The Twins from? I don`t think  I have ever seen them before. Come to think about it where is the guy with the shell/bone on his back from (last pic)?

Really nice painting, I want to paint some Cthulhu minis too!

Love seeing the old grenadier models... the Dimensional shambler is a great sculpt. You've made me see Puffems in a new light... may have to get that now :)

It was from the Grenadier Fantasy Lords series.  It came with a little demon sidekick.  I've had it for a really really long time.

First, sweet jobs... and yes, especially on that Narly.

It was from the Grenadier Fantasy Lords series.  It came with a little demon sidekick.  I've had it for a really really long time.

And here they are: http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=Fantasy_Lords_-_First_Series#102

A tidbit on the Floating Death fig you named "Puffems":

The summer Grenadier released it I was at their booth at Origins, picking up the rest of the Cthulhu figs I was missing, but this one wasn't on rack yet.  Checking out, I mentioned that we could use a flying polyp, to which they produced this new blister from the warehouse box on the floor.  I was told that this nightmare was intended as the Flying Polyp.  Grenadier had lost the CoC licence by then and had to rename all their figs - and so its name became the Floating Death.  You'll note that it also was included in the Grenadier 6006 Demons boxed set.  It is not a shuggoth.

This is Grenadier's dimensional shambler.  It, and the rest of the figs are found here:

Scroll down to 213 to 216 and you'll see them, along with their new Mirliton product codes.
